Cloud Transformation Lead – Executing PM/Agile Lead

We seek an execution-focused Cloud Transformation Lead to be the agile lead/project manager and lead the sprints and projects in the strong Delivery Teams for new and existing customers. You will report to the Cloud Transformation Director, and the role allows you to work from Aeven’s headquarters in Søborg near Copenhagen or our office in Aarhus. Your primary responsibility involves engaging in strategic discussions with our esteemed clients and collaborating closely with C-level and middle management.

Your responsibilities

You will lead the Cloud Delivery Teams in planning, executing, and implementing as agreed with our customers. With your interest in the IT and cloud business and your natural strive to ensure excellent execution according to requirements (whether agile or waterfall) and supporting the team spirit and positive mindset. Your key responsibilities include:


  • Deliver solid plans or qualify epics and features to ensure the road ahead. Prioritise with the customer and engage the cloud organisation.
  • Work closely with Cloud Architects, DevOps Engineers, Cloud Consultants, and specialist teams to ensure a smooth execution of assignments.
  • Monitor and manage the financials for the assignments within your responsibility, including budget, actuals, ETC, EAC, profit, etc.


You will lead the Cloud Delivery Teams according to Aeven’s Cloud Transformation Model, whether agile or using a more classic project management approach, and help our customers adopt cloud services and solutions through all phases, tracks, backlogs, and sprints.


Finally, you will ensure involvement and communication on all relevant levels at the customer and internally at Aeven. We want to build cloud services and solutions and deliver according to scope and plan to create the expected business value.

Your qualifications and experience


  • A blend of consulting, project management (waterfall and/or agile) and the skill to lead high-performing project/agile teams during the adoption and transformation journey. 
  • Solid experience with leading projects, either agile or with more classic project/program management
  • Experience within stakeholder management and a desire to engage, lead, and advise customers through assessing, designing, building, and validating new cloud services and solutions.
  • The necessary empathy and understanding of how to motivate and lead your team.
  • Can work independently with a significant personal drive while securing project results through personal leadership.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure. 
  • A master’s degree in education with at least 3 years of professional experience or extensive experience in relevant fields. Experience leading teams of more than 5-8 members in a matrix organisation.


It is a definite plus if you know or have led cloud transformation journeys in a Cloud Adoption Framework and have experience establishing and maturing CCoE.

You are open-minded and enjoy intellectual sparring and knowledge sharing. You are analytical and see the bigger picture. You can set the direction and can lead by motivation. You are a constant and fast learner. You must have good English skills both orally and in writing.
