Infomedia is monitoring global news across all media channels. It is key for companies and organizations to be at the forefront of daily news to mitigate risks. The Analysis & Advisory teams across the Nordics help clients to understand the complex media landscape and the effect and impact of PR/Communication. In this role, you will head the Danish Analysis & Advisory team, and collaborate closely with your colleagues across the Nordics in striving to consolidate Infomedia as the leading media intelligence partner


As Head of Analysis & Advisory in Denmark, you will be part of the local management team reporting to the Country Manager and leading a team of five FTEs. You will work out of Infomedia’s Nordic headquarters in central Copenhagen.


Setting the strategic direction for spearheading Infomedia’s unique service offerings


In the role, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of Analysis & Advisory in Denmark which includes developing and setting ambitious goals for the practice content, deliveries, customers, and revenue streams. You will lead a highly engaged team and be responsible for their growth and capabilities. Especially, you will be leading by example, when it comes to having a commercial mindset in everything you do – without losing focus on content and quality.


The role will include leading one of three horizontal specialist teams (the others being Partner Sales & Digital Platforms, and Media Monitoring & Media Research) in a matrix structure that Infomedia commercially operate with towards their market activities. Here, you will ensure a strong tie between the commercial teams, marketing, production customer care, and product development. These are important stakeholders with whom you and your team will share interdependencies to succeed. Other responsibilities will include:


  • Design and execute the strategy for delivering profitable growth for Analysis & Advisory.
  • Lead by example and be a “playing coach” and execute key opportunities yourself.
  • Contribute to account strategies to support and win enterprise clients and accounts.
  • Cultivate new and existing client business development opportunities through bigger sales and tender management.
  • Be a key driver and initiator for driving a consulting forum across all markets with other managers and senior advisors.
  • Secure Analysis & Advisory offerings and concepts are market competitive, including the development of new concepts to position Infomedia as the number one player in the industry.


Leadership profile with a background in Tech, Media, or Analytics – B2B growth environment


We are looking for a leader, with analytical depth and breadth, who knows how to connect data and analysis to ensure business-critical and actionable insights. In your leadership, you combine an ability to create followership and be a role model. Your employees perceive you as a passionate and compassionate leader, with good people skills that enable you to interact at many levels in a growing organization across the Nordics.


It is imperative for your success that you are always on the beat and curious about what is going on in the world. In this role, you will lead Infomedia’s most valuable human assets on top of the basic offering which is media monitoring. This requires you to be deeply updated on the news, the clients, the agenda in the media landscape, and overall economic trends, which is key to being a frontrunner in these areas. In other words, keeping yourself updated is a need (and skill) rather than a task.


We know, we are asking for a lot, but we are also flexible about your professional background, as we believe there are several entry points to succeed in the role. We are looking for:


  • Academic credentials at Master level in economics, business, or the like.
  • Strong business acumen, including a flair for numbers and experience from having worked with multiple sources of data.
  • Background in management consulting, and some years in a high-performing international B2B growth environment such as Tech or Media. Alternatively, several years’ experience from analysis and/or advisory agencies or similar.
  • Some years of people management experience as a specialists/consultants.
  • Proficiency in driving sales and negotiation techniques from a consulting approach.
  • Fluency in Danish and English both orally and in writing.
  • Superuser or high proficiency level in MS Office and BI tools.
