About the role
The Head of Brand will be leading the overall brand strategy, including compelling storytelling through digital sales channels, social media, community building, collaborations with like-minded brands, and product innovation. You will report directly to the CEO of Kosmolet and be a member of the Leadership Team. You will occasionally work and find potential synergies with the Head of Brand of Nilens Jord, the other brand in the Kosmolet A/S portfolio.
Responsibilities as Head of Brand at Miild
As Head of Brand, your key responsibility is to drive revenue and profit growth for Miild through well-crafted strategy, where you place the brand at the centre of everything you do.
You will be responsible for meeting the financial targets by growing the business and market share. This is accomplished through an elevated, simple, yet engaging consumer experience from A to Z, expressing the brand values of Miild across all relevant consumer touch points. At the same time, you will build a competitive innovation product launch plan in close partnership with our Product Innovation Manager and through the best suppliers in Europe of products and packaging.
In conjunction with our Sales Manager, you will develop the commercial strategy and define strong go-to-market plans, innovative trade marketing activations and compelling instore visual merchandising solutions.
Your responsibilities also cover:
- Developing and leveraging the brand marketing team in close cooperation the two founders (who will report to you) and the CEO
- Contributing effectively to the overall development of the corporate culture at Kosmolet across all teams
- Constantly engaging and inspiring external partners such as retailers, agencies and suppliers, to support the values and objectives of Miild
Can you lead the brand locally and oversee its growth internationally?
You have 5-10 years of experience at Marketing Director or similar level of a high-profile consumer brand. You are a passionate brand marketeer with a solid marketing toolbox and a strong focus on brand building. You hold a BSc/BA degree in business administration, marketing and communications, or another relevant field. You’re deeply interested in consumer behaviour through analysis, observations, and macro-trend spotting. You’re obsessed with the brand execution, the details and aesthetics. Your media planning experience is robust and primarily within digital channels. Ideally, you have experience with development of beauty products. You have a commercial understanding, as well as a proven track record within e-commerce. Finally, you’re experienced with P&L dynamics and management (netsales, gross margin, opex and profit, etc.).
As a person you are a dynamic, action-oriented, and hands-on leader with a positive attitude. You will be driven by an entrepreneurial culture and spirit, where roles are not always clearly defined and agility is key. Your interpersonal capabilities are strong, and you are a collaborative team player, who aims at unifying and motivating the organization towards the same values and goals. You have superior written and spoken communication skills. You’re naturally interested in fashion, design, beauty and related fields.

More about Miild
The two founders Tine Svendsen and Tanja Lagré are both professional makeup artists. In 2022, Miild was acquired by the leading Danish beauty retailer Matas A/S and is now managed through the subsidiary Kosmolet A/S, which is also the company behind the market leading makeup brand Nilens Jord. The company is based in the city of Farum, north of Copenhagen, and is employed by approximately 40 people.
