In this role, you will report directly to the CHRO, a member of Group Management, with whom you will closely interact. You will be expected to work from DOVISTA’s headquarters in Horsens at least three days a week.


The Job


As Head of Corporate Communications, you will ensure the alignment of DOVISTA’s purpose and strategy as well as enhance our employer brand. You will be given the opportunity to build the corporate communication strategy and bring it to life with the help of a highly dedicated Communications Specialist, and a cross-border communication community. Also, you will be expected to define the company tone of voice within internal and external communication, based on a compelling narrative about DOVISTA, and a sharp understanding of all relevant communications channels. In this new role you will be:


  • Developing a Corporate Communications strategy, delivering effective, consistent, and targeted messaging across DOVISTA platforms.
  • Developing and managing annual corporate communications plan and aligning it with DOVISTA’s purpose, sustainability focus, and global strategy.
  • Leading, developing, and collaborating with the Corporate Communications team of one specialist and local resources in a communication community in the countries.
  • Strengthening and maturing the DOVISTA brand and employer brand.
  • Serving as advisor to C-level and regional executives about communications plans and activities.
  • Identifying media spokespersons across DOVISTA and ensuring they are trained and supported in their key messaging.
  • Identifying tools and processes to lift Corporate Communications as a practice area.


The Profile


You are an experienced and dedicated communications executive and practitioner. You are passionate about creating and communicating a strong and compelling narrative that motivates and inspires stakeholders by linking it to strategy, purpose, and sustainability. You know how to translate high level strategic ambitions to concrete, relatable, and catchy communication and key messages. Finally, and not least, you hold excellent business and creative writing skills and above average digital and social media skills, where you identify the right channels and achieve company and own results by combining drive, discipline and structure. You balance your hands-on tasks with a strategic overview and development of tactical plans.


You are skilled in establishing and developing relations, and excel in your stakeholder management, where you can fully grasp the DNA of DOVISTA. Your stakeholders also experience you as highly competent – an authority in your field – and at the same time passionate about meeting and exceeding client needs. Professionally, you can document experience in the following:


  • Experience with the full communications value chain and platforms – from internal to external communications, SoMe, crisis communications, media relations, and corporate brand/employer brand activities.
  • Experience in sustainability communications.
  • Experience from working with both traditional and digital communications tools.
  • Academic credentials in Communications on University level.
  • Cross-cultural as well as corporate and cross-organisational experience.
  • Leadership, or aspiration to grow into/become a leader of a small team
  • Highest English proficiency, both spoken and written. Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.
