Ministry of Snus in Stockholm 


 


Ministry of Snus is settling for a huge growth in the Swedish market and will establish a Swedish sales organization in Stockholm during the spring of 2022. On their behalf, we are currently looking for a Head of KAM that will play a key role in creating success.

The Job 


As Head of KAM you are responsible for setting growth plans, business reviews and develop the business with Ministry of Snus’ key accounts. The Head of KAM will report directly to the Country Manager and be a part of the management team in Stockholm. A Junior Key Account Manager will report directly to this function and together they will handle all relevant customers in Sweden on a key account level including the warehouse setup with Swedish Match.  


This position gives you a great opportunity to establish and accelerate Ministry of Snus on the Swedish market. It´s also gives you large possibilities to form your own work as well as the Key Account teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 


  • Take strategic ownership of the Key Account department, including developing and implementing processes and structures for strategic accounts.  

  • Secure agreed business building terms, sales and profit targets.   


  • Develop customer growth plans according agreed country commercial policy.  

  • Monitor customer performance and identify deviations and secure proper actions in line with directions agreed in management (e.g., sell-in, sell out, stocks dynamics)  

  • Be an active sparring partner and share best practice to ensure learning and development of the organization.   

  • Develop and optimize resources for one Junior Key Account Manager.  

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on an operational and strategic level  


  • Updated and relevant information to Field Sales on listings, customer activities etc.  

  • Be an asset to the sales reps to ensure the follow-through top down on all accounts.  


The office is planned to be located in either Liljeholmen or Hammarby Sjöstad. Occacional travels within Sweden and meetings in company HQ in Denmark will be required.  


The right profile 


We see that our candidate has a strong analytical and conceptual abilities as well as a determined approach to implementation. You should have a well-developed understanding of commercial aspects, together with business acumen and the ambition to achieve and exceed defined (sales) targets. We also see that you are result orientated and have a customer focus with a keen understanding of how to establish networks and develop successful business relations.  


As a person we see that you are open and extrovert and that you are flexible in your attitude and approach. We see that you are team oriented and value the company’s interest as well as you are strategic orientated and have an operational approach to the key account discipline. 


In this position, creativity by bringing up new ideas and new solutions and showing empathy and understanding for other people is very crucial. A great sense of humour will also be an asset when working at Ministry of Snus.  


Professional Experience  


  • Business degree or comparable qualifications (min. Bachelor)  

  • Experience in sales in the Swedish market and/or in (key) account management within an FMCG business.  

  • The candidate has documented experience in successful annual negotiations.   

  • The candidate has a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as Key Account Manager and at least 5 years within sales / marketing.  

  • The candidate has experience working in a branded business.   


  • Strong user in MS Office. Superuser in Excel and powerpoint. Useful with experience in Power BI or likewise.   

  • Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken
