In this newly established role, and as part of Nuuday’s Infrastructure & Operations with more than 100 FTEs, and you will take over a role that has previously been managed directly by the SVP, and you will have room to influence ways of working and deliverables. You will report to the SVP and will become part of Infrastructure & Operations’ management team.
Workplace will be Nuuday’s headquarter in Copenhagen.
Leadership and direction for Cyber Security Operations – 1st line of defense
As Head of Security Operations & Solutions, you will provide overall management of people, processes, and technology capabilities in the Technology organisation, and you will provide leadership, stakeholder management and oversee activities within:
- 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) services delivered by an outsourcing partner.
- Development of the cyber security service catalogue based on CIS-18
- Balance and advise on risks and threats in development of solutions.
- Improve processes for Incident Response Management.
In short, you will coordinate day-to-day security operations, align operations and “real life” issues against policies and frameworks provided by Nuuday’s 2nd line of defense. Furthermore, you will assist in implementing new cyber security technologies and practices used by vendors, partners, and the Technology organisation. You will also track cyber risks to protect Nuuday, customers and employees and ensure incidents are resolved properly and according to best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.
You cannot succeed alone, and to support you and the function, you will have six dedicated employees managing advisory and support to the business as well as some external consultant that execute various projects. Furthermore, you will, among others, have monitoring and penetration tests delivered by vendors.
Experience in balancing Security Operations with Business Requirements
We belive you to be a seasoned information security professional with experience in cyber security and next to your professional experience, you are enthustiastic about your area of expertise and are constantly on the look-out for emerging threats and risks. You balance this with a pragmatic approach about how policies and frameworks best can be implemented in daily processes.
It is natural for you to navigate in a complex stakeholder landscape, where communication and transparency are key to your success. You can translate threats to a language that highly technical people understand, and as a leader, you can structure, prioritise and delegate tasks that develop and retain your employees. Additional professional skills include:
- In-depth knowledge of modern security concepts such as common attack vectors, malware, security analytics and threat intelligence.
- Understanding of cyber security operations and technologies from a regulated industry.
- Understanding of regulatory and industry standards such as CIS, NIST and ISO 27001.
- Cyber security certification – CISSP, CISM, or related.
- People management experience for a smaller team, and motivated to develop as a manager.
- Experience from working in TelCo or managing telephony products in the industry.
Please be aware that as part of a regulated company, you will need to pass a substantial security approval process. As an international candidate, you will have to have worked in Denmark for 8 consecutive years.
