The role is situated in JTI’s Danish office, and the role reports to and collaborates with Regional Supply Chain in Sweden and Global Planning in Switzerland. There is a dotted line to the Country Director in Denmark.
As Supply Chain Manager, it is key to secure validated sales forecasting and demand planning to Global Planning, with a close eye on stock levels and smooth logistics processes. Besides daily tasks, you can expect to manage recurring urgent issues and ad hoc tasks in connection with planning and logistics, where independent and creative solutions must be made.
It is also important to ensure strong stakeholder management towards Danish Sales, Regional and Global Supply Chain and Planning, Finance, JTI’s 3rd party warehouse and logistics providers, Danish Tax authorities and many others.
Your primary tasks center on:
- Oversee and challenge forecasting for the Danish market in close collaboration with Sales.
- Volume demand for the Danish market, with management of product flows to secure effective product supply, optimal stock levels and minimal scrapping.
- Inventory levels and reporting to, e.g., secure stock levels, shelf-life for goods stored a.o.
- Project work, regionally and globally.
- Management of the critical process for ordering and delivery of excise tax stamps.
- Work closely with 3rd party warehouse provider and support in any issues with Track & Trace.
In the role, the quantitative success criteria are to limit out of stock issues and write-offs. Just as important, the qualitative expectations are that you contribute to a strong team-spirit, are curious and want to influence the scope and content of the role, and that you are able to collaborate across various levels and functions.
Ideally, you have some experience with financial planning, combined with relevant forecasting and demand planning experience. It is an advantage with experience from FMCG, but other industries with the full value chain is also applicable. You hold relevant academic credentials, have strong Excel skills and are fluent in Danish and English. Also, you demonstrate strong system skills, and it is favorable with some experience from working in SAP.
